Vagus Nerve Dysfunction

The vagus nerve is the longest cranial nerve in the body, running from the brainstem down through the neck, chest, and abdomen. It is responsible for involuntary bodily functions such as heart rate, digestion, breathing, and reflex actions like coughing and swallowing.
